SHAMELESS PLUGS (PLEAS)

Hello to you from backstage at the Warwick Arts Centre where a lot of people did not laugh at my joke about feminist porn. Perhaps it is no laughing matter. I have some quick things to plug and then I’m off back to the hotel to warily eat some reduced Sainsbury’s sushi in bed and watch Gogglebox repeats while doing kegel exercises. This is my truth and I will LIVE it.

It was nice to find out today that I have been nominated for Best Newcomer 2020 in the Chortle Awards, amongst some very talented company might I add. The voting polls are now open, so if you’ve ever seen me on tour, in a club, at one of my festival shows, on telly/radio, online and thought this is adequate then it would be magic if you could vote for me. I’m not saying I NEED this but yesterday I applied for a job as a boiler engineer by submitting a CV that consists entirely of bartending experience. Second on the shameless plug/plea agenda is the TAPING OF MY COMEDY SPECIAL. I am filming my 2019 Edinburgh show ‘Handful’ for NextUp Comedy at the Moth Club on the 16 th of March. It was listed in the Telegraph’s Best Comedy Shows of Edinburgh Fringe 2019. It needs an audience to work- a hard truth I discovered at the Fringe.
